Pelican® BIG D™ 3800 - Black

The Big D™ was designed with two things in mind: heavy duty and light weight. The 3800 is 50% lighter than the competition but uses a hi-intensity Xenon lamp to produce the brightest beam that can cut through thick smoke and dust. For emergencies, a back-up lamp is included. Lay it flat or stand upright and aim the light where you need it, thanks to the pivoting head that rotates almost 180°.

The main body is ABS resin that's corrosion proof, highly resistant to chemicals and extreme temperatures, and just plain tough. A stainless steel grill protects the lens from scratches, debris, and hard knocks. The 3800 comes with dual push button switches for constant on or flashing strobe. Also, a quick change battery pack makes replacement easy, with a steel clip to hold it securely. It comes with a heavy duty strap and a mounting base that can be installed horizontally or upright. The quick release design of the base allows you to remove the Big D™ with one hand. Powered by 6 D alkaline cells.
