Pelican™ Products, Inc., is proud to announce that their Advanced Area Lighting Group has rolled out the 9430IR Remote Area Lighting System (RALS) as the first ever portable infrared spotlight solution.
The 9430IR’s 24 next-generation LEDs radiate infrared light at the 940mm wavelength to provide illumination up to 75 yards out with minimal chance of opponent detection. Powered by a 14-Amp hr rechargeable battery, the system offers up to 8 hours of peak performance and takes 7 hours to be fully charged.
Portability is engineered into the system with an extra wide grip for gloved hands and a weight of 22 pounds. Built with versatility in mind, the system features a swiveling telescope mast (extends to nearly 3 feet), a 360 degree articulated light array and a wide area handle for easy gloved grip and transport. The Pelican™ 9430IR Infrared portable spotlight is extremely durable and water-resistant.
Maintain Stealth/Neutralize Threat
Pelican's 9430IR (infrared) spotlight reaches down-range to provide situational awareness without compromising stealth. 24 infrared lamp modules generate light visible only to forces equipped with night vision equipment. Capable of operating 75 yards out, the 9430IR extends the tactical advantage of night vision technology.
Covert Checkpoint: Now soldiers can establish covert NV checkpoints to asses threats and provide advance warning to exposed personnel.
Perimeter Security: The 9430IR can be hand carried to remote locations. Equipped with night vision and digital communication, forces outside the perimeter can remain invisible and silent while using the 9430IR to report enemy movement.
The Pelican™ 9430IR Infrared Remote Area Lighting System is the first battery powered, portable infrared LED light that leaves not thermal signature.
Does not produce any heat as do incandescent light sources (with infrared filters) that produce heat and thereby leave a thermal signature
